Oil filters used in compressors are generally cellulose based and generally meet the desired filtration properties. It satisfies the compressor users sufficiently by preventing particles in sizes that can seriously damage the system, ensuring efficient operation of the compressor and minimising the wear that may occur due to friction that may occur in the rotor part. In cases where cellulose papers cannot provide sufficient filtration, composite papers are used. Composite papers are obtained by adding some synthetic fibre to the cellulose paper in pulp form. This process has increased the filtering ability according to particle sizes and has enabled the users to extend the life of the compressor by providing better filtration of the oil in the compressor.
